Eagle Specialty Products "SIR" connecting rods are an economically priced alternative to the time and expense involved in reworking OE connecting rods. "SIR" connecting rods are forged from 5140 steel and most are available for both press fit or bushed for floating pins. ARP 8740 capscrew bolts are used in all "SIR" connecting rods. Critical big end sizing is controlled using in-house CNC equipment. "SIR" connecting rods offer up to 50% increase in strength over stock connecting rods. All rods are weight matched in sets +/- 2 grams. "SIR" i_beam rods are rated for small block (500 HP) and big block (700 HP).
